How to Choose Shutters

With a range of options at your disposal, you can create the perfect shutters that match your own specification and style aspirations. Our dedicated advisors are here to help and can assist you in selecting the best options to suit your preferences and budget. Choose from a range of materials, colours and configurations that complement your lifestyle and home interior. To help get you started, we have listed some of the main considerations below.

Shutter Material

When deciding on what type of shutters you would like installed, the base material is an important factor. We design and install shutters in a selection of materials to suit all budgets. Choose from:

  • Hardwood
  • ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
  • MDF
  • Aluminium

Whichever material you choose, you can have confidence that our shutters are designed, engineered, and built to withstand day to day use and temperature fluctuations, making them an excellent investment that will last for years to come.

Painted Finishes

Painted finishes are available in every shutter style. From pure white to warming neutral tones and modern dark shades, you can choose the perfect hue to set off your home interior.

Painted shutters receive several coats of paint and are finished with a protective final UV resistant coat to protect the colour from fading. As a result, they will look fantastic for years to come.

Custom Colours

If you want to get creative, why not opt for a custom colour? Dare to be different and choose a vibrant red tone or choose a baby pink for a nursery, the options are endless.

For custom colours, all you need to do is supply us with a solid block colour sample of your chosen shade and we will do the rest!
